Carol Jean (Aspen) Hendren-Chitwood, 46, (formally of Hastings, Neb., and Rogers, Ark.) passed away Dec. 30, 2013, peacefully in her sleep at home in Wasilla.
Celebration of life in memory of Carol is from 2 to 5 p.m., Jan. 6 at Hacienda Mexican Restaurant, 1781 E. Palmer-Wasilla Hwy., in Wasilla.
She was employed by Wal-Mart for more than five years, working at stores in Bentonville, Ark., and Wasilla. Carol was loved by many co-workers and friends.
Surviving are her loving husband, Troy Chitwood; children, Bobby, Garrett, Nicole, Brianna and Molly; brother, Joel Aspen of Georgia; sister, Julie Force of Daytona Beach, Fla.; and her twin sister, Cheryl Tuggle of Lehigh Acres, Fla.
