Carol Sue Carl

Carol Sue (Frazier) Carl was born June 22, 1942 in Globe, AZ to Burt & Ida Frazier.

Carol leaves behind her husband of 46 years, Jackie D Carl of Saginaw MI. Her son Richard Carl, his wife Samantha and their children Garrett and Marissa of Lansing, KS, her daughter Tracy (Carl) Bettys and her husband James and their children Amanda of Winter Springs, FL, and Hunter of Wasilla, AK.

She is survived by her sister Cheryl Richards of Mesa, AZ and her brother John Frazier of Apache Junction, AZ. Carol moved to AK in 1976 when Jackie was stationed at Eielson Air Force Base. Tracy remained in AK until 2015 living in Anchorage and Palmer. In 2015 they moved to Ajo, AZ. Carol loved the mountains here in Alaska, but she enjoyed the heat of AZ as well. Carol was a past worthy matron of the Anchorage Chapter of Eastern Stars #8. Carol was known to her friends as ‘The Carol Lady,’ especially when Linda had the card shop in Palmer.

Carol passed away on Dec 23, 2017 after brief illness in Chandler, AZ. She will be buried on June 22, 2018 at the Ft Richardson Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend please meet at the Ft Richardson gate at 12:45 p.m. We will line up in the extreme right lane along the tree line. A brief ceremony will be presented by the Anchorage Chapter of Eastern Stars #8. Carol requested donations be made to the Shriner burn center in care of Alaska Shrine temple, 1930 Northern Lights Anchorage, AK. Refreshments to follow at the Masonic Lodge at 1431 Eagle St.
