October 24, 1938 - December 06, 2025 It is with great sadness that the Ruby family announces that Carole Jean Ruby, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 87 on December 6, 2025. Carole is survived by husband Francis Ruby, children Mark Ruby and Brenda Ruby-Anderson, daughter-in-law Rebecca Ruby, eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Carole was known to love fiercely and give freely, traits that were witnessed in her early career as a hairdresser followed by retail clothing sales. Carole enjoyed traveling with granddaughter figure skating. Carole spent her golden retirement years creating and selling fine works of art in her beaded jewelry. She always loved the opportunity to talk and get to know everyone who came to her booths stating that strangers were just friends you didn’t know yet. As Carole was a devout Catholic, in lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wasilla.
