Caryl was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Medical Corp in Frankfurt, Germany. In her civilian life she was a Journeyman Electrician for most of her career. When she was injured with Carpal tunnel syndrome she worked as a home inspector. She parlayed that and started her own business, Active Inspections, until her death. She absolutely loved her work and Alaska! She is survived by a twin sister Amy and her husband Gary, their son Jeremy (nephew), and many friends here in Alaska as well as Ohio. The family is requesting uplifting messages be left on the funeral home website with stories you would like to share about your experiences with Caryl. There will be no services.
