Longtime Palmer resident Charles “Chuck” Cavyell died Feb. 24 at Mat-Su Regional Hospital. He was 65.
A celebration of Cavyell’s life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at the American Legion on Outer Springer Loop in Palmer. Friends are asked to come and share memories and stories of Cavyell with the family.
He is survived by his children Terry Kampmann and family of Vancouver, Wash., Bruce Cavyell and grandsons Kyle and Kasey Cavyell of Palmer, Renee Cherneski and family of Las Vegas, Nevada: siblings Harry Cavyell and Minnette Mueller; and longtime partner Jackie Armstrong.
