Charles Frank Kaucic Jr. passed away on January 8, 2023 in Seattle, Washington. He was born at Valley Hospital in Palmer, Alaska on April 17, 1988.
His primary youth enjoyment was Scouting. His precocious demeanor resulted in earning the Eagle rank at 13 and 63 merit badges including all the Catholic religious emblems. He continued his Scout passion as an active Order of the Arrow member/officer.
Chuck’s interest in Scripture placed him on St. Michael’s youth ministry bible team. This intellectual thirst led him to 2 summers delighting in the Youth in Theology & Ministry Institute at St. John’s University School of Theology in Minnesota.
At a young age, community volunteering behind the scenes and in the forefront was close to his heart. He experienced pleasure in helping and teaching others
Chuck appreciated the outdoors and later expanded his wildland skills to trail construction, skiing, snowboarding, and canoe/raft guiding. Employment landed him on lakes, trails, mts/ski slopes and parks.
Chuck is survived by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
His wit, smile and the smirk of his happy disposition is unforgettable.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Sat. Feb. 11, 2023, 11 a.m. Farm Loop Christian Center, Farm Loop Rd, Palmer.
