Charles Mack Jones (Charlie-Chuck) 64 July 17, 1953- July 2, 2018
Charles Mack Jones was born July 17, 1953 in Wheatland Wyoming to Everett and Tillie Jones.
He spent his early years living in and around Wheatland and Longmont Colorado and Jackson and Rock Spring Wyoming. Charles early adult life was spent in Eagle River, Chugiak and Big Lake Alaska. His other homes were in Kent and Stanwood Washington and his last years were spent in Apache Jct. Arizona.
Chuck as he was known through his high school days was very athletic and was a letterman in football and wrestling where he achieved a state championship at the 165-pound weight class. He was graduated in 1972 from Chugiak High School.
Charlie was a Painter and dry Waller by trade who learned most of his trade from his father Everette. He was a very skilled craftsman and was talented in many different fields and could build and repair most fixable items.
He was always willing to lend a hand and did so quit often. Charlie will be missed by many friends and family members.
He is preceeded in death by both sets of Grandparents, father Everette and Mother Tillie, Brother Don, Sisters Tammy and Nata Jones Pitts, Uncle Mack and Aunt Ann Jones.
Charlie is survived by his children: Chas-Alaska, Danyel, Jessie and Leah all of Washington.
Sisters Di Ann Cozad (Doug Gardines) Az., Shelby Proudy (Rick Fairley) South Dakota, Candy (Lee) Gifford OR. Brothers: Michael (Ann) Jones WA, Duane (Liz) Jones South Carolina. Stepbrother: Douglas “Bud” Jones Kansas. Cousins: Christine Jones Wyo., and Lestlie Westbrook Texas. Special Aunts Lavina (Bill) McCreary, Colo., and Nancy (Kieth) Keifer-Colo. Many Nieces & Nephews. A memorial gathering will take place Oct. 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., Paradise Community Club House, 2481 W. Broadway Ave., Apache Junction, and AZ.
