Cheri Cooper of Palmer, passed away in the arms of her husband and daughter Oct. 26, 2017, after losing her battle with brain cancer. She and her husband, Jim, moved to Palmer in 1995 when they bought the Just Sew fabric store. She was instrumental in resurrecting Friday Fling and was responsible for hanging the Quilts during Colony Days. Cheri was born in Seattle June 17, 1947. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jim, her children David, Eric and Jamie, and her six grandchildren, Ethan, Kaylee, Tristan, Caleb, Andi and Riley. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Cheri's name to the Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) to aid Parkinson's research.
