Cheryl Lee Halan

Wasilla resident Cheryl Lee Halan, 27, died unexpectedly Jan. 27, 2013, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer.

Cheryl was born Nov. 5, 1985, in Fort Pearce, Fla., to Timothy Dunn and Pamela Maines.

Cheryl graduated from Burchell High School in 2004.

Surviving are her father, Tim Dunn of Homestead, Fla.; mother, Pamela Newcomb of Youngsville, Penn.; daughter, Jasslyn Jay Halan of Wasilla; sister, Victoria Maines of Youngsville, Penn.; T.J. Halan of Wasilla; family member, Judy Halan of Wasilla; aunt, Violet Mead of Pittsfield, Penn.; uncle, Tim Maines; and uncle, Rusty Maines.

Arrangements were by Valley Funeral Home and Crematory.
