Christian Newman

March 04, 1939 - December 04, 2025 Christian O. Newman, 86, passed away Thursday, December 4th, 2025 in the Matsu Regional Hospital, following illness with cancer. A celebration of life will be held in his remembrance at a future date and will be announced to all relatives and friends. Christian was preceded in death by his father Donald, mother Carrie and his wife Mary. Survivors include his son Timothy and wife Aleena of Willow, Ak, many family members spread throughout the world and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be given to VFW Post 3836 in Talkeetna, Ak, to which Christian was a life long member, The Upper Susitna Shooters Association, Willow, Ak, to which Christian was a founding member, or to the Arctic Guardian Inc.
