Lifelong Palmer resident Christina L. Powell passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 19, 2019.
Christina was born November 22, 1976 in Palmer, Alaska. She graduated from Palmer High School in 1995. She began working for MTA Communications at the age of 16 and continued working there until the time of her death. Christina married Sean Powell in August 2001. Christina was very involved in her community, loved volunteering and loved Palmer.
Christina is survived by her husband Sean Powell; and their children Torrence (15) and Zander (9); she is also survived by her father Christopher Fowler (Roma); and many loving family; friends; and community members.
A celebration of Christina’s beautiful life will be held Friday, February 1 at the Palmer Depot. Friends are welcome to attend this potluck anytime after 6pm to share stories and memories.
