Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Christina Noëlle Yuill, 6, died Dec. 13 at the Children’s Hospital at Providence in Anchorage.
A celebration of her life will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday at Lazy Mountain Bible Church, 16005 E. Shawn Drive.
Christina was born Dec. 9 and lived in Wasilla with her mom, Amy and dad, Lucas.
Her family says, “Christina was a special girl whose life touched many. Although she faced many challenges, she always had a smile. She is loved so much and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.”
Christina was preceded in death by her sister, Heather and great-grandparents, Ken Mondor and David Huff.
She is survived by her mother, Amy Yuill and father, Lucas Yuill of Wasilla, grandparents, Rick and Linda Davis or Palmer, Wes and Cindy Yuill or Palmer; uncles and aunts, Rachel and Tim Allen, Melissa and John Greenhalgh, James and Beckie Yuill, Seth Yuill and Colby Yuill, and great-grandparents, Patricia Mondor and Lynette Huff.
Donations may be made in Christine’s memory to Lazy Mountain Bible Church, 16005 E. Shawn Drive in Palmer, Alaska.
