Clayton Daniel Marrs was born in Scott City, Kansas on November 19, 1963 and lost his battle to cancer on July 11, 2024 in Knik, Alaska.
He was proceeded in death by his father Patrick Ewing Marrs and his brother Crist Douglas Marrs.
He leaves behind his daughters Camile (CJ) Rusher and Briana Putnam; grandchildren CJ Graydon, Nellie Graydon, Billy Rusher, and Spencer Putnam; his mother Mary Marrs; and sisters Eileen Marrs and Elizabeth (Dave) Mikowski. He will be missed by his numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces: Michael (Melissa) Marrs; Wade (Sophia) Marrs, Mack Marrs, Asher Marrs, Kirsten (Kenny) Kleewein, Kenny Kleewein III, Bellamy Kleewein, Sterling Kleewein, Caleb Boitz, Doug C. Boitz, Dustin (Jesse Cottrell) Marrs, Mackson, Brooklyn, Ava, and Everly Marrs.
Clayton was a kind person who liked solitude in his later years. Growing up he worked as a farm and dairy hand. He enjoyed riding snowmachine and four-wheeler. He was always hiding toys and figurines around inside and out and waiting for others to spot them. He will remain in the memories of many friends and family members.
His ashes will be scattered at Archangel in Hatcher Pass, Alaska where his brother Crist's were also scattered.
