Clint Carper, 54, died Sept. 19, 2008 at his home in Palmer.
The family invites those who knew him to join in celebrating his life at the memorial at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Palmer Elks Lodge #1482, 2600 N. Barry’s Resort Dr., sharing memories amongst family and friends.
Carper was born April 2, 1954 in Quantico, Va., and came to Palmer in 1978 where he was a general contractor. Carper enjoyed hunting, fishing, scuba diving, snow machining, cooking and float trips.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Carper, of Palmer; mother Dorie Carper of Lompoc, Calif.; sisters Carole Huneycutt of Lompoc and Dorinda Murry of Santa Barbara, Calif., nephew Andrew Huneycutt of Chico, Calif.; niece Kate Huneycutt of Lompoc; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by father Esten C. Carper Jr.
Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Boys & Girls Club of Mat-Su Valley, 3700 E. Bogard Rd., Wasilla, AK, 99654.
Valley Funeral Homes & Crematory of Palmer and Wasilla assisted the family.
