Colleen L. Lapp, 50, died Aug. 14 at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer.
Colleen was born Nov. 1, 1958 in Gary, Ind. She moved to Wasilla in 1989. Colleen loved to fish and enjoyed gardening, cooking, spoiling her grandchildren and celebrating holidays.
“Colleen was a very strong, courageous woman, yet very compassionate and kind. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister anyone could ever have,” her family wrote.
Colleen is survived by her husband, Jeff Lapp; son and daughter-in-law, Geoff and Steph Lapp; son, James Lapp; grandchildren, Melinna and Johnny; mother, Rozella Harabe; and brothers, Kevin Mason and Brian Tompson. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kehl’s Palmer Mortuary. www.legacyalaska.com
