A story in the Oct. 22 edition of the Frontiersman about all-state football selections omitted one of the Valley’s outstanding performers in 2010.
Colony lineman Trey Farber was selected by the Alaska Coaches Association as first-team all-state on both offense and defense. The Colony standout played both ways as an offensive and defensive tackle this past season, and was also voted by coaches as the large-schools’ Lineman of the Year.
The Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman congratulates all the local all-state selections. Missing Farber’s acknowledgments in the Oct. 22 story was unintentional and we apologize for the error.
