COVID-19 statement from Delta County School Superintendent

At this time, Delta County School District has not closed schools due to COVID-19; there are no reported presumptive positive cases reported in Delta County. The School District is working closely with the local and state Health Departments, along with medical providers and other community partners, as we navigate what is best for all students and staff members. At this time, we are assessing the multitude of impacts that come with a closure; we are actively identifying the needs of students, staff, and our communities. We will continue to monitor everything on an hourly and daily basis, to determine if and when a closure is best. The health, safety, and welfare of our students and staff are of the utmost importance. This situation is ever-changing; please be aware that there could be changes at anytime.
