Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Cynthia Jo “Pete” Wolf, 50, died Dec. 11, 2011, from heart failure.
She was born Feb. 24, 1961, at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, Mont. Cindy grew up in Montana and western Washington, and she resided in Alaska for the past 30 years.
She was employed as a bus monitor for First Student Transportation in Palmer. She enjoyed beading and metalsmithing.
“Cindy had a heart of gold and was a loving, caring person who always gave to other people. Our family loved her very much and will miss her dearly,” her family wrote.
Surviving are son, Thomas Patrick Elliot Wolf; granddaughter, Kndl Lee Wolf; mother, Gloria Gale; father, Kenneth Green; stepmother, Casey Green; sisters, Barbara Holcomb and Carolyn Larson; brother, Alvin Whitaker; stepsister, Joycelyn Martin; stepbrother, Aaron Payne; nephews, Jeremy Taylor, George Sipe and Kenny Larson; niece, Brytnee Weldon; great nieces, Kaitlynn Taylor and Izzabella Weldon; great nephews, Owen Manley and Jadon Weldon; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding her in death were her daughters, Amber and Shannon Wolf.
Services are at 12:30 p.m., Dec. 17 at Kehl’s Palmer Mortuary, 209 S. Alaska St.
