Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Dale E. Bridge, 55, died Sept. 7, 2007, at his home in Wasilla.
Bridge was born Feb. 1, 1952, in Cheyenne, Wyo., and came to Alaska 30 years ago. He worked on the Slope during that time, working for Nabors AK Drilling, Pool Arctic Drilling and Nordic Drilling.
Bridge had a lot of friends and the respect of those who worked with him and had a reputation for being straightforward and honest. He will be missed by his family and friends in Alaska, Arizona and Missouri.
Bridge was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Katherine. His ashes will be spread in Alaska.
Valley Funeral Homes and Crematory of Wasilla and Palmer is assisting the family.
