Mr. Dale Morgan Minnicks, age 70 of Springfield, Tennessee, entered into rest Saturday, July 22, 2017, in Springfield, Tennessee.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Gilbert Funeral Home.
Dale was born Oct. 17, 1946, to the late Albert and Doris Harris Minnicks. He is survived by his wife, Joan Minnicks; a son, Adam B. Minnicks of Eagle River, Alaska; and a sister, Sandra L. Minnicks Jones of Florida.
He entered the U.S. Air Force in January of 1969 and was honorably discharged after 20 years of service. Dale spent 26 years in Alaska and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He served as President of the state of Alaska Fish & Wildlife Safeguard under the direction of the Alaska State Troopers for 13 years. He is a lifetime member of the NRA and Am Vets and was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in Springfield, Tennessee.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Gilbert Funeral Home.
