Daniel F. Burke, 70 of Wasilla, Alaska unexpectedly passed away as the result of sudden cardiac arrest on November 10, 2022. Born November 5,1952 in Glens Falls, NY he was the son of the late Robert and Margery Burke. Retired from the State of Alaska D.O.T. Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jo Ann Burke of Wasilla; daughter, Susan and son-in-law Andrew of Landisville, PA; son, Dan of Wasilla; granddaughters Ella, Lily, Calla, Alleigh, Willa, Gracie; brothers, Bob, Bill, Mike; sisters, Patty, Suzanne, their families, and close friend Ryan. Dan is preceded in death by his beloved son, Johnny. We invite you to celebrate Dan’s memory by spending time with your loved ones which is what he wanted. “Go out and have fun!” To all those that knew and loved Dan may you gain strength and peace in the knowledge that he is no longer in pain. The family asks that donations be made to the National Rifle Association in lieu of flowers.
A memorial potluck will be held on December 10, 2022 from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, at the Palmer Elks Lodge. Bring a dish to share.
