Wasilla resident Daniel Paul Olson, 65, died July 29, 2011 in Eureka.
A visitation for family and friends is from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Valley Funeral Home 151 E. Herning Ave., in Wasilla. Funeral services are at 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, at Church of the Rock in Wasilla. Burial follows at Aurora Cemetery in Wasilla.
He was born Dec. 24, 1945, in Hancock, Mich., to Edward and Elsie (Suomala) Olson.
Daniel has lived in Alaska since 1984.
Valley Funeral Home and Crematory in Wasilla cared for the family.
