Longtime Alaska resident and frontierswoman, Daryl D. Jones, passed away unexpectedly after a surgery on March 25th, 2021.
Daryl lived a wild and varied life in Alaska from big game guide, fireman, to homemaker. Among her many loves were her animals, including her dogs which she trained for hunting and her sheep which she competed with at the Alaska state fair, and her eclectic art projects. Always willing to try new things, she thrived for over 50 years in Alaska.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Gene Jones. She is survived by her three daughters, Robin Beaudry, Lari Lentz, and Lee Salmon, along with 4 grandchildren, Arika, Kira, Briar, and Aaron.
