Always the adventurer, Daryl Glyn Bishop left his familiar home in Texas for the Last Frontier of Alaska. There he found opportunity, love and family, but being the adventurer he was, Glyn did not settle. Alaska was only the beginning.
Glyn married twice, to Donna Leigh Williams, with whom he had two children, and to Cynthia Lea Evans. Cherishing his friends as family, Glyn shared a humor and love for life that was welcoming and compassionate. He revered animals and creativity. Through his own artwork, Glyn offered his inspiration. The power and beauty of nature, especially horses, always brought to him a peaceful tranquility.
Family was everything to Glyn and his friends were always as close as family.
Surviving are his sons, Daniel and Julian; and daughter, Elizabeth; and grandchildren, Hayden, Eli, Everett and Lacey.
All of those who hold his memory know that Glyn lives on. He may have left this earth, but he did not go very far.
