Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

David Gene Fenner, 71, died Jan. 18, 2011, of complications from a long illness.
God blessed him to have all of his children around him when he died.
His father and mother, Donald and Jewell Fenner, preceded him in death.
David had five children: Paula Decuffa, of California; Mark, Martin and David Fenner of Reno, Nev.; and Michael Fenner of Las Vegas, Nev.; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sister, Carolyn Bunnell; brothers, Johnny Fenner of Wasilla, Tommy Fenner of Willow, Stanley Fenner of Anchorage, and Danny and Kirk Fenner of Rapid City, S.D.; three aunts and one uncle; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
There will be a private memorial for family in the Reno area and a private graveside burial in South Dakota, as weather permits.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Elm Springs Community Cemetery, 21406 Linn Rd., Elm Springs, SD, 57791.
Arrangements were with Infinity Burial and Cremation of Reno, Nev.
