Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Nick passed away March 31, 2021, while receiving medical care in MN.
He moved from Anchorage to the Valley in 2007 with his wife of 43 years, Karen. The full obituary was published in the Frontiersman in April.
A Celebration of Life will be at Cross Country Church, 5131 N Gold Mint Dr, Wasilla, at 4pm, June 20, 2021, with graveside service the next morning, June 21, at 11:30am at Ft. Richardson National Cemetery with full military honors. Nick served 20 years in the USAF, retiring as an E7, Master Sergeant as well as doing 2 tours of duty in Vietnam.
All are welcome to attend. Please meet at the Ft. Rich gate at 11:15 to line up for procession. The family would be honored by your presence.
