Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Former Wasilla resident Dee Hastings Tancre Mayabb, 74, of Springdale, Ark., died March 22, 2012, in Rogers, Ark.
She was born March 18, 1938, in Knobel, Ark., to the late Clark and Royce Bernice Hastings. She was a teacher for many years and enjoyed scrapbooking and fishing.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers, Clark Waverly Hastings and Floyd Raymond Hastings.
Surviving are her husband, William H. “Bill” Mayabb; daughter, Sabrina Ford and husband, Rick, of Springdale, Ark.; and grandchildren, Ahren Trivitt, Keely Ford and Layne Ford.
Services are at 2 p.m., March 26 at Sonora Baptist Church in Springdale, Ark. Burial will be in Sonora Cemetery.
