Dennis D. Hedler, age 66, of Wasilla, Alaska (formerly of Thorp Wisconsin) died at his home on Friday, September 16, 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Church on the Rock, in Wasilla. Following the Celebration of Life, a light lunch and visitation will be held until 1 p.m. at the church.
In September 2001, he moved to Wasilla, Alaska and worked for Advanced Plumbing & Heating.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Carol, of Wasilla, Alaska; one son: Eric (Amy) of Anchorage, Alaska; 2 daughters: Jill Urofsky of Georgetown, Texas, Sara (Luis) Garcia of Austin, Texas; 3 grandchildren: Hannah, Dalton and Murray, all of Georgetown, Texas; his mother: Lillian Hedler of Thorp, Wisconsin; 5 sisters: Nancy (Tom) Woods of Neillsville, Wisconsin, Peggy (Dan) Stroinski of Thorp, Wisconsin, Sally Hedler of Wasilla, Alaska, Lynn (Jim) Isenberger of Stanley, Wisconsin, Sue Hedler of Thorp, Wisconsin; his mother-in-law: Annabelle Sauer of Thorp, Wisconsin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis on October 1, 2010 and his father-in-law, Arthur H. Sauer on May 13, 2009.
