Derick Hermann Kroener Sr., 50, died unexpectedly Dec. 6, 2013 in Chugiak.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m., Dec. 17, 2013, at the Anchorage Moravian Church, 2150 East Dowling Road, in Anchorage. Viewing is one hour prior to the services. Bishop William “Doc” Nicholson will officiate. A celebration of Derick’s life and memorial potluck will follow services at the church. He will be laid to rest at the Kanakanak Cemetery in Dillingham in the spring of 2014.
