Diane Dorothy Treece (Shuck) of Wasilla, Alaska, passed away peacefully on October 21st, 2021 at the age of 85. She is survived by her loving family; sister, Suzanne Rebal; daughter, Debbie Treece; sons, Michael Treece (Sheila), David Treece (Launi); five nieces and nephews, nine grandchildren and three great-granddaughters!
Diane was born on January 19, 1936 in Quincy, IL. Her family moved throughout central US, but her favorite spot was Austin, TX; eventually moving to southern California where she graduated from Monrovia-Arcadia-Duarte (MAD) High School. She received her Dental Assistant degree from Long Beach Junior College, and worked in a dental office in Newport Beach, CA for six years. She married and moved to Hemet, CA to raise her family, and became an elementary school and district secretary for 25 years.
After residing in the Hemet Valley for 40 years, she moved to Eagle River, AK in 2000 to be a nanny for Debbie’s three boys. In 2010, she moved into the beautiful and caring Primrose Retirement Community in Wasilla, AK. A celebration of life service will be held at Primrose on December 11, 2021 at 3PM.
