Diane Lucille Berglund, age 75, passed away with her loving family at her side on March 26, 2017, in Wasilla, Alaska.
Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Friday April 14,2017, at Janssen’s Mat-Su Funeral Home – 6901 E. Blue Lupine Drive – Palmer, Alaska (Off of the Parks Hwy frontage road). A reception will be provided immediately following the service.
Diane was born on Dec. 16, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to Edwin and Audrey (Probert) Bookbinder.
Diane moved to Alaska in 1986. She loved putting puzzles together; as well as playing cards, especially bridge and rummy.

Diane is survived by her daughter, Darcy Smith of Wasilla, Alaska; granddaughter, Caitlin VanOrden of Merid, Idaho; grandsons: Aaron Smith, Christopher Smith, and Jessiah Smith-Shearer all of Wasilla, Alaska; one great-grandson, Matthew Smith of Wasilla, Alaska. She is also survived by her son, Jason Berglund in Walnut Creek, California.
