Dominic Eugene Hill, 14, passed away at home on July 30, 2016. A service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Wasilla Bible Church, 1651 W Nicola Ave. Wasilla, at 11 a.m. and burial to take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 701 Edlund Road, Wasilla, at 1:30 p.m. A potluck will follow the service at Wasilla Bible Church at 2:30 p.m. Dominic was born August 18, 2001, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Dawn Capri (Moody) Fabanich and Travis Eugene Hill. He would have attended Colony High School as a freshman this fall. Dominic loved to go camping, hunting and was a survival enthusiast. He was proud of his culture and valued a traditional subsistence lifestyle. Dominic wanted to grow up and live off the land when he got older. Dominic was an organ donor and now he will live on in others as he was a generous soul. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Dawn and Sean Fabanich, of Palmer, Alaska; his father and significant other, Travis Hill and Michelle Logan, of Wasilla, Alaska; his brothers, Michael and Nathaniel Hill, of Palmer, Alaska, Grayson West, of Wasilla, Alaska, Cayden Hill of Wasilla, Alaska; step-brother, Sheldon Nashalook, Reno, Nevada (whom he loved hanging out with and playing games); aunts and uncles, Devon and Mike Welander, Dustin and Vanessa Moody; grandparents, Richard and Penny Moody, Joe and Grace Hill; cousins Max and Harley Stokes, Justice, Dawson and Scarlett Moody, Robert Hill, Danielle, Chris W., Chris R., and Andrea Apthorp, all of Wasilla, Alaska.
