Donald K. Rust, 89, passed away Dec 2, 2015, in Roseburg, Oregon. He was born Dec. 31, 1925.
A longtime Alaska resident, he lived in Willow and ran Nancy Lake Marina with his partner and good friend, Bill Waldron, for many years until he retired in 1993 and returned to his home on the river in Winchester, Oregon.
He leaves a daughter, Tami Broyles, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service, with military honors, will be held at 11 a.m., Dec. 15, 2015, at Wilson Chapel of the Roses, in Roseburg, Oregon. For more information, see www.wilsonchapeloftherosesfh.com.
