Donald Keeley Dowd, age 70, died this week of Leukemia in Seattle. It snowed in Seattle the day he died.
Don was happy with his 70 years. He was born and raised in Redding, CA. When he was a young man, he moved to Alaska seeking adventure. Downhill skiing, snow machining, flying, and now golfing we’re his passions. He loved Alaska and his home in Chickaloon.
He started North Star Excavation & Asphalt. His son Joey took over and Don was very proud of his success.
He leaves his wife of 43 years, and golf partner, Susan; his son, Joey and grandsons, Jaxon and Ryland, whom he cherished.
