Donald L. Cox, 58, died Aug. 22, 2008 at his Palmer home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1949 in California and came to Palmer in 1952.
Cox worked for the Alaska Highways and Transportation Department from 1966 to1974 and was a heavy equipment operator at the Anchorage International Airport from 1976 to 2001.
He is survived by son Michael Cox of Wasilla and sister Linda Fluke of Seattle, Wash.
Valley Funeral Homes & Crematory of Palmer and Wasilla assisted the family.
