Donovan H. Hoppe passed away recently in Wasilla Alaska in a motorcycle accident.
Donovan was born and raised in Ketchikan Alaska. He was the fourth child of George and Dorothy Hoppe (both deceased). Don moved to Anchorage, Alaska many years ago to be near his brothers Fred and Brennan, developing a close-knit group of friends. He was well loved and is missed by many. He was a great brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents George in 1974, mother Dorothy in 2012, siblings Scott Wesley in 1974, sister Colleen 'Toots' Yvonne in 2009. Survived by sister Constance 'Connie' (Mark), Frederick 'Fred', and Brennan (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families, and many close friends in Willow, Wasilla and Anchorage. We are at peace knowing that Don is riding wild and free in Heaven. There will be a 'Celebration of Life' on Saturday April 21. Please call 907-310-0614 for details. Arrangements were made with Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
