Dora Mae Endes, 72 of Palmer Alaska has joined her Lord and Savior May 14, 2015. She was born March 9, 1943 to the Late Jim and Virginia Johnston. Dora Mae was born in Barstow, California. Dora Mae and her family later moved to Bakersfield, California where she finished her education and met her best friend and soul mate (Selden Endes). The two were married and journeyed to Palmer, Alaska, where they called home. Dora Mae was a devoted wife and stay at home Mother. She took great pride in taking care of her family and home. She was always the first to lend a helping hand at her church, 4-H, and horse club or at any school activity. Dora Mae was one of the strongest most courageous people anyone has ever met. She endured health issues for a majority of her life, and made the most out of what she was dealt.
Dora Mae is survived by her Daughter Pamela (Brian) Green of Hot Springs, SD, Son Morey Endes of Palmer, AK, Daughter Acadia Lightner of Palmer, AK, Brother Fred Johnston of Bakersfield, CA , Grandchildren Jacob (Staci Kay) Burkhart Bixby, OK, David (Nicole) Cullison of Sheridan, WY, Macy Green of Hot Springs, SD, Joshua (Lindsey) Endes of Wasilla, Alaska, Tessa Mae Endes of Palmer, Alaska, Great Grandchildren Jade Cullison, Noelle Cullison, Steele, Cullison, Adalee Burkhart, Emersyn Burkhart.
She joins her heavenly family, Devoted husband Selden Endes, Father Jim Johnston, Mother Virginia Johnston, Sister Virginia Ann Bingham, Brother Jimmy Johnston, and Brother Billy Johnston
A celebration of Dora Mae’s life will be held at Farmloop Christian Center on May 21, 2015 at 2:00pm.
