Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Dorothy Darleen Webster, 42, passed away Nov. 19, 2013, in Wasilla.
Celebration of life in honor of Dorothy is at 3 p.m., Nov. 25 at Valley Funeral Home, 151 E. Herning Ave in Wasilla. Her ashes will be scattered in Hatcher Pass and California.
Dorothy was born on Feb. 16, 1971, in Fall River Mills, Calif., to Terry and Marvella Webster.
Dorothy graduated from Wasilla High School in 1989. She loved to cook, bead, draw, write poetry and sing.
Dorothy’s children provided the following poem in memory of their mom:
“I’ll love you forever,
“I’ll like you for always,
“As long as forever, my mother you’ll be.”
Dorothy is survived by her parents, Terry and Marvella Darleen Webster of Wasilla; brother, Steve Webster of Wasilla; brother, Lucas Webster of Idaho; sister, Leah Desjarlias of Wasilla; sister, Amanda Webster of Anchorage; son, Norman Triplett of Idaho; daughter, Desarae Darleen Handley of Idaho; son, Wyatt Goerdt of Wasilla; daughter, Alisha Goerdt of Wasilla; grandson, Isaac Gleason of Wasilla; and granddaughter, Roary Alice Darleen Handley of Idaho; and many nieces and nephews.
