Doug Ketchum 77 years old, a longtime resident of Anchorage AK passed away at Maple Springs facility in Wasilla AK on June 25th, 2024. A military service will be performed at Ft. Richardson Cemetery in Anchorage AK on Wed July 17th at 2:00. He is survived by son Jason Ketchum, granddaughter McKayla Leschinskiy, grandson Elijah Ketchum, sisters Antonia Thompson and Tracy Ketchum and brother's David Ketchum and Carl Ketchum, and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Doug was kindhearted and giving. Very loyal patriot, served his country for 4 tours in Vietnam. Received Purple Heart and other commendations. Loved his family and friends. Lived in Anchorage Alaska for over 60 years. A member of 7th Day Adventist church and devoted to God. He was a great brother to me as the youngest sister and we were always here for each other. My husband Brad was like a brother to him and was a big part of his life as well. He was looking forward to being with Father God, and I know he's rejoicing in Heaven right now.
