Dustin Almond Lee Hill-Lawler

Dustin Almond Lee Hill-Lawler, 25, died April 11, 2012, at his home in Willow.

Memorial service in honor of Dustin is at 3:30 p.m., April 19 at Valley Funeral Home and Chapel, 151 E. Herning Ave., Wasilla.

Dustin was born Sept. 12, 1986, in Yakima, Wash., to Brian and Tammi (Broderson) Lawler.

Dustin was everyone’s best friend. He was a loving son and brother, and was devoted to his fiancée, Desi. Dustin was a family man. A father at a young age, he quickly became a responsible dad who lived for his children.

Dustin acquired many skills and was a hard worker. He drilled wells, built sheds and homes in both Alaska and Hawaii. Dustin had a special knack for wiring car stereos in any type of vehicle. He also was known for being the family computer guy for his ability to rebuild them and type 200 words a minute.

Dustin also had a passion for fast cars and motorcycles. He and his brother enjoyed repairing and riding them. Dustin loved shooting guns, fishing, dog mushing, boats, swimming and cliff diving.

Dustin loved the outdoors, his family, life and everything it gave him.

His favorite sayings were, “Simply believe!” and “Lead the change!”

Preceding him in death were his longtime friend, George Smith; aunt, MaryAnn; sister, Geraldine; aunt, Shari; and grandparents.

Surviving are his father, Brian Lawler; mother, Tammi Lawler; sister, Mackenzie Lawler; brother, Joseph Butler; daughter, Willow Lawler; and fiancée, Desi Jenks, all of Willow. He is also survived by sister, Lottie Carter of Anchorage; nephew, Joey Butler; and niece, Delilah Butler, both of Willow; and son, Juztyn Lawler of Anchorage. Dustin leaves behind several other family members and friends who will miss him and love him always.
