Palmer resident Earnest E. Chaney died Dec. 3, 2010, in Palmer.
Graveside services with military honors are at 10 a.m., May 25, at Valley Memorial Park in Palmer.
Earnest was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran who moved to Alaska in 1952. He worked for Local 302 Operating Engineers and was a master welder, retiring after 40 years.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Palmer Senior Center.
Valley Funeral Home and Crematory in Wasilla cared for his family.
