Edward (Bill) Boyle
Age 77 passed away peacefully at home on May 2, 2019 surrounded by close family and friends.
Bill was born May 1, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan. Shortly after high school, he joined the Air Force from 1959-1962. After the Air Force he worked as an ironworker in Michigan before moving to Alaska in 1983 with his wife Darlene Boyle.
They settled in Sutton Alaska where Bill continued as an ironworker, then drove a school bus and later opened Bills Metal Roofing.
Bill enjoyed, traveling, fishing, poker and he was a great food critic — always knowing where the best places to eat were!
He is preceded in death by his wife Darlene Boyle.
Bill is survived by his Aunt Charlotte Brandt; cousin Charlotte Zinkus; son and daughter in law Nicholas (Melanie) Boyle; 2 grandsons, Keegan and Conner Boyle and close family friend Jose Santana and family.
A celebration of life service will be scheduled this summer at his home in Sutton, where family and friends will gather to share memories and celebrate his life.
