Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Edward John Pisaneschi, 52, of Wasilla passed away Sept. 23, 2014.
Ed was born in Rome, Italy, on Feb. 25, 1962, son of the late Bruno and Doris Witt Pisaneschi. He attended Rome schools where he met the love of his life, Maureen Jones. They married Dec. 10, 1983.
Ed worked with his father and brother in the auto body business, but he and Maureen felt the call of the wild and headed north. They lived the life they had dreamed of in Alaska, sharing it with family and friends who visited.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Maureen.
Surviving are his brother, Roger (Jodi) Pisaneschi; and sister, Susan (David) Kolassa.
Ed and Maureen were buried Oct. 25 in Westernville Cemetery in New York.
