Lifelong Alaska resident Edward Price, 80, died June 4, 2013.
A funeral service is at 2 p.m., June 7 at Bodenburg Butte Baptist Church with a graveside service following at Palmer Pioneer Cemetery.
Ed was born Sept. 25, 1932. He was employed at Mat-Su Services Mail Center before retiring.
Ed enjoyed bingo at the Wasilla Senior Center; making ceramics at the Clay House; lunches at Windbreak; concerts and plays, especially around the holidays; the “Sourdough Ball;” Hobo Jim; anything green; and his longtime Butte Baptist Church connections.
His musical tastes ranged from AC/DC to the bagpipes.
His favorite evening routine included watching “Wheel of Fortune” and Maria Downy and the Channel 2 News.
A special highlight was a trip to Haines where he was reconnected with family.
He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his friends at MSSCA.
Arrangements are with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel and Crematory.
