Elaine R. Wolfe Wilson

Elaine R. Wolfe Wilson died July 3, 2012, at her home in Nampa, Idaho.

She was born June 17, 1956, at McCall, Idaho, to Randall (Tony) and Frances Griffin Wolfe.

She moved with her family to Alaska at the age of 1 and was raised and educated in Talkeetna, where she graduated from Susitna Valley High School in 1974. She went to Washington, D.C., as an intern for U.S. Senator Ted Stevens who also swore her into the U.S. Navy.

She married Dave Heiple and became mom to Jessica. Later, she married John Oller and her son John was born. Upon returning to Idaho, she enrolled at Boise State University and graduated with a degree in nursing.

She practiced her profession until her health forced her to stop. During her career, she touched many lives and was loved and respected by her coworkers.

Surviving are her parents, Tony and Frances Wolfe of Emmett, Idaho; daughter, Jessica Tudi of Nampa, Idaho; grandchildren, Triston, Sarah, and Maggie; son, John Oller of Tucson Ariz.; sisters, Theresa Young of Caldwell, Idaho; Laura (Leo) Foster of Emmett, Idaho; and Fran (Barry) Florez of Meridian, Idaho; brothers, Michael (Sherri) Wolfe of Bremerton, Wash. and Andrew Wolfe of Wasilla, and a half brother, David (Michelle) Peterson of Murray, Utah; former husband and family friend, Herb (Gayla) Wilson of Boise, Idaho; and best friend, April (Ron) Jordan of Nampa, Idaho; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends who will miss her terribly.

Per her request, there will be no funeral services, and her ashes will be scattered at her favorite camping and fishing spot.

In her words, “I’ve gone everywhere I wanted to go and done everything I wanted to do and am ready to move on to the next adventure.”

The family wishes to thank Mountain States Tumor Institute for their kind treatment Legacy Hospice for making her final days peaceful, and Pastor Jonathan Phillips of Community Bible Church in Emmett for his pastoral visits and prayerful support.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to Mountain States Tumor Institute, 308 E. Hawaii Ave., Nampa, Idaho, 83656.

A memorial gathering for family and friends to share memories is from noon to 4 p.m., July 28 at 204 Almond St. in Nampa, Idaho.
