Elise Anne Block

May 15, 1958 - May 21, 2025

Elise Anne (Poirot) Block was born in Douglas, Wyoming on May 15, 1958 to Norma Ann Reese and Russell Allen Poirot. Norma and the children moved to Alaska in the late 60s and settled in Palmer in the Butte area, where she met the love of her life David Block. David & Elise Block were married June 29, 1985 and remained married for over 39 years.

Elise is preceded in death by her brother Craig Poirot, mother Norma, and father Russell.

Elise was a loving wife, auntie, and friend. She loved much and was much loved. She will be missed by all.

There will be a funeral service for Elise on June 6th, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Legacy Funeral Home (Wasilla Heritage Chapel - 1015 S Check St.) with a potluck following. She will be buried in the Butte cemetery.
