In the loving memory of Elodie Rae Cron. A cherished daughter, devoted sister, bride-to-be, and a faithful friend who left this world far too soon at the age of 30. Her untimely passing has left her family and friends devastated.
She was born on February 21, 1993, at the old Palmer hospital. She was one half of a remarkable set of identical twins. From the moment Elodie and her twin sister, Marina, entered this world their connection was undeniable. Together they navigated life’s ups and downs and supported each other through every triumph and challenge.
Elodie was a radiant presence; her infectious laugh and vibrant spirit lit up every room she entered. She was a true intellectual and was always eager to engage in thought-provoking conversations and long phone calls that seemed never ending. Her creativity was endless. She found inspiration and great joy in painting, writing and music. She loved connecting with nature and could often be found by the water; collecting and gathering treasure to use in different forms of her artistic expression. Elodie was a true foodie; you could find her seeking out the newest food trends at food trucks, restaurants or even creating them in her own kitchen. Truly, she had an unwavering love for food as she was willing to try new things. Her culinary creations reflected her personality – bold, daring, and full of life!
Family was the cornerstone of Elodie’s life and at the forefront was her life partner and love, fiancé, Kendra Zeller. They were a week away from their fairytale wedding that Elodie had meticulously planned.
Elodie is survived by Kendra, her parents, Bill and Stacey Clark and sisters; Marina Cron, Dustie Clark, and Nyla Dufrense (Seth). Also, by her grandparents, John & Concetta Gagnon and too many aunts, uncles, and cousins to name. Her two faithful doggy companions Stella and Lavi and many friends. All her family and friends highlighted the brilliance that radiated out of Elodie.
She was proceeded in death (exactly 21 years to the day) by her older sister, Cetta Cron, who passed away at the age of 16 in 2002 and her grandfather, Ronald W. Cron.
A celebration of life and potluck was held on Monday, July 3rd at the Palmer Elks Lodge in Wasilla.
