Long time Alaska resident Elvajean (Jean) Weatter went home to be with her Heavenly Father on October 6, 2022.
A memorial service will be held on October 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church, located at 900 N. Leatherleaf Loop, Wasilla, Alaska.
Jean was born on April 28, 1931 in Lansing, Michigan, and moved to Alaska in 1960. She is survived by three children — Nancy Weatter of Wasilla, Alaska, Debbie Weatter of Anchorage, Alaska, and Michael Weatter of Montana. She is also survived by her younger brother, MANY grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Weatter, daughter, Marsha Weatter and several of her siblings.
