Wasilla resident Enid Margarette Selby, 90, died March 3, 2010, at the Palmer Pioneer Home.
Per her request, no services will be held.
Mrs. Selby was born Nov. 2, 1919, to M. Keith and Hazel Ethel (Glendenning) Fish in Haxton, Colo., She moved to Alaska on March 3, 1967, where she has resided ever since. Mrs. Selby was a remarkable wife, mother and grandmother. She was a Christian and enjoyed knitting, fishing, love of family and life.
“A loving wife and mother, Enid was a very special loving woman who was an angel to many on this earth,” wrote the family.
Mrs. Selby is survived by her husband of 24 years, William “Bill” Selby of Wasilla; daughters, Janice Haak of Texas, Tanya Thomason of Odessa, Texas, and Eleanor Newell of Boise, Idaho; sons, Joe Ross of Star City, Ark., Frank Loosli of Anchorage and Chuck Loosli of Wasilla; sister, Freda Bileu of Murray, Ky.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were with Valley Funeral Home & Crematory in Wasilla.
