Eric Deeter, 50, died Sept. 17 in a car accident in Anchorage. He was born July 4, 1959 in Madison, Tenn.
Mr. Deeter, of Wasilla, had been an Alaskan since 1994. He was a self-employed artist/carpenter; and worked from 2002-2005 at Spenard Builders. He is survived by his wife, Gretchen Diemer, son Jeff Deeter his brother Alan Deeter.
A Celebration of Life and memorial service will be held Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m., at Pioneer Peak Elementary School, 1959 N. Trunk Road in Palmer. It will be a potluck.
A memorial fund has been established at the Mat-Valley Federal Credit Union in Eric’s name.
